Construction started a few months ago on one of downtown Austin’s most prestigious high rise apartment buildings, that will transform the former Thomas C. Green Water Treatment Plant into hundreds of apartment units, offices, hotel rooms and retail shops.
Building One will be mixed-use high rise tower that will be 38 stories at West Cesar Chavez and San Antonio streets and have 440 apartment units, including 50 that will rent at below-market rates. Building one will also have more than 40,000 square feet of office and retail space.
This new development is being developed in a partnership between Trammell Crow; The Hanover Co. a Houston-based developer; and Pacific Life Insurance Company. Hanover was a partner in developing the 36-story luxury Ashton apartment high-rise also in downtown Austin.
Apartment units will have between 492 square feet and ——–
